Buzludja, Bulgaria in the rain with Boian & Anne. The concrete letters on the outer walls are massive & whilst we have heard of people taking one home as a souvenir to this crumbling communist spectacle, we decided against it. It seems wrong & having tried to lift the T that was making it’s own way down the grassy slope, we knew it was not practical either!

People have tried to get inside the building via various cracks & broken fences but the only option when we were there was a fairly high up hole followed by a very big drop, and a crawling Leap!  We decided to be the lookout party & carry on documenting the area.

It’s well worth a visit & remains untapped as a ligit tourist destination. Probably not forever
